Lixie Deadblow Hammer

Dead Blow: Dead blow mallets and sledges are constructed from malleable iron or spark resistant hi-tensile aluminum. Hollow head castings are partially filled with steel shot that moves forward toward struck surface on impact, dampening rebound and insuring optimal blow transfer.

Replaceable Urethane Faces: Prevents marring, peening, or deforming struck surfaces. Impervious to most oils and solvents. Outperforms rawhide and low quality Compo-Cast style mallets in wear, longevity, and performance.

Handles: Unique grooved Hickory handles provide comfort and safe grip regardless of oil or perspiration. Handles are joined to head castings by a patented wedge and epoxy bond to prevent head separation.

Deadblow hammer comes with a 1 1/2″ striking face, head casted in malleable iron, with both a medium (green) and hard (black) face hardness.
