This type of moulding release tool has been around the industry for years. We have put it in our catalog because so many people asked us to carry them. Our clip removal tool is made of steel so it will not bend. It has a small rubber grommet through each end to hold the tool up off of the glass about 1/32". This is important for two reasons. First, it prevents the tool from scratching the glass and, secondly, it holds the end above the glass so there is less of a chance the tip will catch the edge of the glass and break it.
